Nicola is a registered Operating Department Practitioner who holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Operating Department Practice. The focus of her career before entering education was in a variety of settings within the NHS predominantly as an Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner, supporting patients on their perioperative journey.
Having identified a passion for Higher Education, she is currently studying a postgraduate certificate in education at the University of Bolton whilst working in her role of Associate Lecturer.
She currently teaches on the Operating Department Practice programme supporting students here at the University and out in clinical placement.
