On Monday 2 October, the university’s School of Law welcomed Mark Lucraft QC, renowned for his position as Chief Coroner of England and Wales, to the Centre for Contemporary Coronial Law. The well-attended Leeming Lecture brought law professionals to the university campus. Lucraft shared his extensive law expertise, providing the audience with an invaluable insight into coronial law.
Following the successful evening, Honorary Director of the Centre for Contemporary Coronial Law, Professor Jennifer Leeming said: “We feel very privileged that Mark could find time in his busy schedule to join us and add his name to the list of esteemed speakers at our Leeming Lectures. The lectures are another example of the university’s commitment to bettering the experiences of both students and professionals by providing the opportunity to engage with industry experts. We fully support this promise as well as actively embrace the Teaching Intensive Research Informed (TIRI) agenda.”
