To make the most of self-growth and self-improvement during your Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy training, here are some helpful tips:
Set clear goals and objectives
Knowing where you want to be once you graduate can be helpful in setting targets. You should also celebrate smaller milestones as this will help you build momentum and stay motivated throughout the programme. Our passionate tutors will work with you to establish your career goals, and will tailor the modules to your personal and professional development needs.
Look at your strengths and weaknesses
Self-reflection is a major part of self-improvement, giving you a unique opportunity to objectively assess what you are doing well, and what needs work. By reflecting on your own practice, you can enhance your skills, bolstering strengths and improving weaknesses.
Learn from your peers

By enrolling with us, you’ll be joining the highest calibre of trainee psychologists and psychotherapists, giving you an excellent opportunity to network. You’ll also be able to share ideas, collaborate on revision, and learn from each other’s experiences.
Take a break from your studies
While we believe in hard work and determination, we also encourage students to relax and take a break from their books. Finding a balance between work and leisure will help you build a healthy routine, and will also improve your focus and ability to recall information. Memory is vital for Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy training, so if you feel overworked make sure you find time to de-stress.
