Sport Rehab4 v2

Our Sport & Physical Activity Rehabilitation Centre (SPARC) has a holistic and innovative approach to health and wellbeing and is open to everyone. Our Clinic and wider facilities focus on physiotherapy, sports injuries, and rehabilitation. In particular, we have expertise in:

• Acupuncture
• Back pain
• Electrotherapy
• Injury prevention
• Joints and muscles
• Massage
• Neck pain
• Physiotherapy
• Post-operative rehabilitation
• Soft tissue trauma
• Sport rehabilitation
• Tendon, ligament, and muscle injuries

Our fully qualified staff have many years of experience in treating all kinds of injuries whether they be sport, hobby or work related. Our philosophy is not only to assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions using the latest evidence-based treatments, but we aim to ensure our clients can manage their conditions, return to full activities at the most appropriate time and prevent reoccurrence. Our clients can expect to receive the most up-to-date and evidence-based treatments from experienced professionals. Where the condition is beyond our scope of practice, the client will be directed to the correct healthcare professional in the shortest time possible.

The SPARC Centre is also a teaching facility where students from our Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation programmes work alongside our professionally trained staff to gain practical experience and learn how to provide an excellent standard of treatment. Assessments and treatments are clinician-led with the supervised assistance of students. This gives our students a broad range of theoretical and vocational skills, as well as the knowledge that will equip them to become a healthcare professional. Massages are also provided by our second-year and third-year students. All our programmes, (undergraduate and postgraduate are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies.
