University of Bolton, why we are the right choice
Location - Bolton, Greater Manchester
Throughout the academic year, we organise teams of staff and students to support a range of sport and health events in the local community. We offer a range of treatments and advice to participants and competitors in activities such as:
- 24-hour Help for Heroes Football Event
- Bolton 10K Run
- Bolton Iron Man
- Manchester Half Marathon
- The Three Peaks Challenge
- Wilmslow Half Marathon, and
- Weekly Park Runs
We support many community events, (e.g. cycling, running, walking, triathlons, endurance events, trail runs and charity events etc.), throughout the year. Our students can provide pre and post event massages, as well as information and advice on injury prevention.
We also aim to continue supporting events for people with disabilities, for example:
- You Try
- Hip & Knee Walk, (for people who have recovered from surgery or had replacements), and
- Sports Disabilities Association
If you would be interested in our staff/student teams supporting your event, please contact us:
