Application Process (Incoming students)

Step What to do
1

Before applying you should contact the international office/Erasmus+ office at your home university to make sure that you can be nominated for the exchange scheme.  It is also essential that your home university and the University of Bolton have an Inter-institutional Agreement in place.

Students who require a visa to enter the United Kingdom can find out more information from Student Services.

2

In liaison with your home university and the University of Bolton staff, select appropriate modules to study. The University of Bolton’s Erasmus+ team can help you.

3 Complete the Erasmus+ application form.
4 Prepare a transcript of records of your studies so far.
5 Complete the learning agreement (available from your home institution).
6 Send the application form, transcript of records and Learning Agreement to us by the appropriate deadline date. Please e-mail documents to erasmus@bolton.ac.uk.
Your application form will then be forwarded to the relevant School Erasmus+ Co-ordinator.
7

If we can accept you, an offer letter will be sent to you by e-mail. Please note that this may take several weeks from the date of application.

8

After receiving the offer letter you can arrange your accommodation. Details about how to apply for a room in halls are available here.
