Student Life Team

The Student Life Team are responsible for enhancing your student experience, you are at the heart of everything we do!

You can get involved with events, activities and initiatives throughout the year - highlighting key days of importance, awareness-raising days, and fun and interactive activities. With your feedback and participation, we can ensure your student experience is as full and enriching as it can be.

We work with academic staff to ensure you get the most from your personal academic tutoring experience and access the relevant pastoral and professional support resources, from academic support to mental health and wellbeing. We also work with students to develop Peer Mentoring and Support networks.

We try to ensure all our students feel a sense of belonging at the University. You will have the opportunity to feedback multiple times during your time as a student - from the Undergraduate Experience Survey (UES), the National Student Survey (NSS), to the Postgraduate Taught/Research Experience Survey (PTES/PRES)! Your voice matters to us at every stage of your student journey. We will make improvements by listening and acting on your feedback.

If you are passionate about Environmental Sustainability, the Student Life Team will be here to listen and build on your ideas to create a more sustainable campus. You will have the opportunity to be involved in creating and organising Environmental Sustainability events, initiatives and projects.

The Student Life Team works collaboratively across the University with all services including the Students Union, to ensure you get the most out of your student experience.
