University of Bolton, why we are the right choice
Location - Bolton, Greater Manchester
The University of Bolton is proud to be working towards solutions for a better life, bringing together staff and students through environmental sustainability initiatives.
University Life is one of four pillars to support the University’s overarching Sustainability Strategy. With this pillar, our aim is to embed environmental sustainability into the culture of The University of Bolton. We host regular events and activities throughout the year, with the aim to educate students on sustainability issues, equipping them with the knowledge they need to become sustainable citizens conscious of their environmental impact. University Life Action Plan
Sustainable Futures is a week long educational environmental sustainability event which invites external organisations and highlights the work the University is doing to support a sustainable campus. Students are invited to take part in litter picks to preserve natural habitats and to attend University-led outdoor trips.
