Bolton Students’ Union President in pole position as he visits British Grand Prix race

Bolton SU President Uchenna Moses lived life in the fast lane as he visited Silverstone to watch the F1 British Grand Prix.



Uchenna attended the race along with former SU President Nihit Tiwari and said afterwards: "It was an incredible experience learning about the sport that is a passion for our motorsport engineering students.



“I had an amazing time. I got a close-up look at the kind of cars that our students are learning about and working on.



“The experience has made me understand their passion and realise why people choose to study at the University of Bolton’s famous National Centre for Motorsport Engineering."



Uchenna added: "It has incredible teaching facilities and the lecturers deliver top-notch teaching in the design and simulation of race cars.

“There are also lectures from professionals in F1 to share insights on current developments in motorsport."

The visit was organised by the Royal Automobile Club.



Uchenna, who hails from Nigeria, took over as Bolton SU President on 1 July.
