Look at the Market
We all know the trope of the ‘starving artist’ and that’s the worry with any degree - that you won’t make any money. But have you heard about how art professionals are making an incredible living in the field of game design? Probably not. And that’s where doing research into the market for your skills really comes into play. Looking at English? Why not try a career as a copywriter? Wanted to be a dentist but didn’t have exam scores? Do a dental tech course with a 1-year upgrade and you can still have your own practice! Come to an Open Day and talk to your potential teachers about your career options. They’ll have some insight into opportunities in the Greater Manchester area. They can also tell you about the partnerships we have with local businesses and how many of their students have found great roles right out of school.
