Find out about courses, student support, employability skills, our fantastic links with businesses, workshops and graduate stories; concluding your visit with networking and nibbles. Zone 1 – Find your Perfect Course
Here you will find course information, teaching staff, Student’s Union and student life opportunities. Take advantage of this zone and have a few questions prepared, think about what your learning style is, how the course is assessed and the topics you would like to study, these will help guide your research and narrow down your course choice.
Zone 2 – Innovation and Enterprise
Did you know students have the opportunity to work in the Accountancy pro-bono clinic and Entrepreneurship Clinic. Find out more about these and how innovative technology is utilised in a business setting. This zone will show how students hone their new skills and demonstrate how what you learn in the classroom is put into practice. Make sure you speak to students about how this has enriched their learning and provided them with essential industry experience.
Zone 3 – Employability Skills
There will be workshops from both employers and the University employability team showcasing a range of areas which are essential to the skills you will learn while studying on your chosen course. These help shape and enhance your learning, supporting your knowledge and practical skills for your chosen career path, readying you for industry
Zone 4 – Networking, Nibbles and Graduate Stories
You’ve reached the end of the roadmap in this zone, where you can talk to employers, graduates and current students about what it’s like to live and study here. Make sure you grab a drink, something to eat, speak to a few people here and find out everything you need to know about #UniAsItShouldBe.
