University of Bolton signs MOU with The University of the Republic of San Marino


We are very proud to announce that University of Bolton have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The University of the Republic of San Marino (in Italian: Università degli Studi della Repubblica di San Marino).

The Università degli Studi della Repubblica di San Marino (University of the Republic of San Marino) is the main university in San Marino, which also includes the Scuola Superiore di Studi Storici di San Marino (Graduate School of Historical Studies), a distinguished research and advanced international study centre governed by an international Scientific Committee coordinated by the emeritus historian Luciano Canfora. The University of the Republic of San Marino also delivers a number of programs in collaboration with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Bologna.

The MoU agrees to promote cooperation between both institutions in the fields of mutual interest which includes:

• Exchange of students*
• Exchange of faculty and research members
• Exchange of staff
• Exchange of information and academic publications
• Development of joint research projects
• Development of joint teaching and outreach programs
• Promotion of courses, lectures and symposia

*Subject to Admissions/Progression guidelines & protocols, immigration compliance requirements and ECCTIS approved qualifications.

This MoU forms the basis and confirms the intention of both universities to collaborate and help enrich and nourish the minds of the students of both institutions. We are eager to warmly welcome the students and staff!

The priority admissions process for the University of the Republic of San Marino Students

We will welcome and prioritise all applications as part of our collaboration with the University of the Republic of San Marino.

We are also delighted to confirm that all students will be assessed at offer stage for a scholarship of up to £3000 depending on their previous academic achievements

Please note that in order for the application to be prioritised by the admissions team, please choose the University of the Republic of San Marino at Step 9 in the Agent drop down list (UniRSM)

All applications should be complete in order to be prioritised i.e. please ensure you upload all of your previous certificates/transcripts, English Language certificate*, CV, Passport, Statement of Purpose and any other documents required as detailed in the entry requirements. Please also note that all documents should be in English or translated by an official translator. Please also check the entry requirements as additional documents may be required.
