Care Experienced Students

Prior to and on Graduation

The University of Bolton wants to enhance your opportunities after your studies and make sure you are prepared for your next step, whether you choose to engage in further studies or if you are getting straight into employment:

  • Students in receipt of the Care Experienced Bursary will receive an additional £500 payment upon successfully completing their course. This payment is designed to help with the cost of Graduation along with Interview and employment costs i.e. clothes and transport
  • Students can access enhanced and preferential Careers and Employability advice
  • Students can access enhanced and preferential Careers and Employability advice
  • Students can speak to a dedicated contact within the Careers and Employability team
  • Continued access to the Careers and Employability team for up to three years after graduation
