REGISTRATION AT THE GREATER MANCHESTER BUSINESS SCHOOL

How to get to the venue, parking, academic dress and photography

You will need to register your attendance at Y0-02 in the Greater Manchester Business School (GMBS) building. You will do this before you collect your academic gown and have your photographs taken.

Registration will take place at the Greater Manchester Business School (GMBS) building, which is a short 5-minute walk from the Albert Halls.

Opening Times

On the day of your graduation, you must arrive promptly for registration at GMBS, room Y0-02, you will be given your student ticket and seat allocation. You will then be directed to the Academic Gowning area. Your guests will be asked to wait outside the GMBS building until you have collected your academic dress.

Once you have completed the registration and collected your academic gown, you will be able to have official photographs taken (if applicable). Please note: for the 10am ceremony you are requested to have your photographs taken after your ceremony to ensure you have enough time. Please make your way to the Albert Halls to be seated no later than 15 minutes before the start of your ceremony.

Getting there by public transport

The nearest train station to GMBS is Bolton Train Station (next to the GMBS building). For train times and journey/route planning please visit National Rail Enquiries.
