Once the proposal has been approved at Strategic Planning, Resources and Development Committee (SPRDC), where necessary, and Programmes Committee, the arrangements for securing approval for a new programme that leads to a University award are given here:

An up to date programme specification and a set of up to date module specifications are required in order to support a proposal for approval of a new or modified programme.  The specifications should be developed in the programme and module databases, located here:
