Jayde Lane

Lecturer in Nursing

Jayde is a registered adult nurse and qualified in 2001. She has a RN Dip in adult nursing studies and a BSc in nursing practice. Following qualification Jayde worked within the field of gastroenterology and rheumatology before specialising in Rheumatology, which led to the completion of Non- Medical prescribing (V300) and an MSc in Rheumatology Nursing. She also has practice experience in acute medicine and geriatrics.

Jayde joined the University in 2022 and she mainly teaches on the Non-Medical Prescribing Module, completing her Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and Professional practice whilst in this role.

Research Interests and Research Subject Specialisms: Musculoskeletal conditions. Neurodiversity within teaching and learning
