Publications and Research:
I worked on a research project during my MSc investigating if Conversational Intelligent Tutoring Systems (CITS) could help learners with neutral learning styles. This project involved gathering lots of data from a prebuilt CITS, the CITS was based upon SQL knowledge and was used by students at a university to help revise for their exams in a database module. This dataset was pre-processed and cleaned before performing data mining techniques to seek the answer to the research question.
I worked part time as an Associate Researcher. This research project involved the designing and implementing a conversational intelligent tutoring system for A level biology students that will help with their revision towards their exam. Other duties involve the setting up of a website/server, ethics procedures, testing, pilot study and evaluating the results to show how effective the system was.
