There is nothing more rewarding than finding a career path that you are passionate about. Going to work every day, wearing a big smile on your face, is a dream many people have but so few turn it into a reality.
It is so important to pursue your interests during your education so that you can enjoy subjects and discover new interests. One area which many students find a genuine passion for is Media and Photography because of its accessibility and large influence it has on our modern society.
The University of Bolton provides a range of Media and Photography degrees. Here you can find the potential careers you could have from obtaining one of these degrees, so you can discover which job can put a smile on your face, for the rest of your life.
Careers within media
Completing a photography and media-based degree can land you in many different industries, from advertising and marketing to radio and television, perhaps even digital media or PR consultancies. These industries all have their own little niches, but the majority require roles such as producer, director, screen writer or camera technician.
Alternatively, you could pursue being your own boss and start a small production company. Some of our graduates have done this and gone on to win accolades in film festivals around the world.
