 The Healthcare Research Authority are giving people the chance to join their Research Ethics Committees; you will be supporting them in gaining more research and effectively help participants through the research studies that takes place.  

 Depending on your skill set, there are three different types of a member you can become. It also forms different perspectives and insights which is vital in the research industry. What will the role consist of? 

Everyone’s role is equally important. When working as a part of a committee, you will be expected to: 

- Help facilitate ethical research 

- Aim to provide evidence for improving or changing practice  

- Attend monthly online meetings, minimum of six a year 

- Work on some of the biggest challenges in health and social care 

- Co-operate with other committee members 

What will I gain?
