Why the University of Bolton?

When it comes to choosing between the best January intake universities in the UK, it’s important to consider what sort of university you want to attend. For instance, do you want a large university in a big city or do you want a small-to-medium sized university where there’s a closer knit community?

At the University of Bolton, we can offer students the best of both worlds. We have approximately 6,000 students and 700 academic and professional staff, and we maintain relatively small class sizes to ensure everyone gets the attention and support they need.

We’re also located just 15 minutes by train from the city of Manchester, which is one of the best cities in the UK for students and graduates, with more graduate job opportunities and better work/life balance than anywhere else in the UK.

Here are some other reasons to consider us for university courses starting in January:

  • All of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses provide one-to-one mentorship
  • We have a student-centric approach to teaching, meaning we put you, and your needs first
  • Our lecturers know students by name, and not their student ID
  • We focus on your personal and professional development, helping you achieve your career ambitions
