Susan Nicholls

Associate Lecturer

Susan is a Registered Adult Nurse and Registered Midwife. She qualified as a nurse in 2015, graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc (Hons) in Nursing and then completed her post-registration Midwifery and graduated from the University of Salford in 2020 with a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery. Susan has worked in a variety of areas including a Medical Admissions Unit, Intensive Care, Community Midwifery and Antenatal/Postnatal ward.

Susan joined the University of Bolton in March 2021 and worked as a Work-Based Tutor for the Pre-Registration Nursing programme supporting some of the first nursing apprentices, before then joining the Trainee Nursing Associate team as an Associate Lecturer in December 2021. She has worked with both apprenticeship and direct entry students and taught on a variety of modules on the programme.
