Laura Rawlinson

Lecturer

Before joining The University of Bolton as a lecturer, Laura worked in the NHS for over 13 years. She worked as a Senior Nurse Practitioner as a prescribing autonomous clinician. Within practice, Laura taught both pre and post graduate students within the NHS and RAF.

Laura assessed and treated patients with minor illnesses and injuries, worked in coronary care as a scrub nurse within cardiology, and worked in the Emergency Department. Laura has a special interest in palliative care. Laura is educated to masters level with post grad qualifications in Non-Medical Prescribing, Clinical Examination Skills and Autonomous practice in Emergency Care.

Laura has a degree in Nursing with honours and a degree in Computer Science with Sports Science.
