Dr. Moshood Oladapo is a Lecturer in Business Management at the Greater Manchester Business School delivering a broad range of Business and Management courses on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including MBA and DBA.
He holds an undergraduate degree and postgraduate qualifications in Agricultural Economics, specialising in Agribusiness Management and Consumer Studies. His PhD research contributes to how horticultural farmers can benefit from market integration logistics, while his DBA Doctorate research on technology adoption practice in the rural economy contributes to strategic management theory and practice. The study significantly contributes to how Agricultural Entrepreneurs can gain a competitive advantage by managing production systems and practices.
Moshood is a skilled external examiner and an experienced chartered manager (CMgr). He is also a member of the British Academy of Management, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), a Senior Fellow of the Advanced HE (SFHEA), a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training (FSET), a Certified Business and Management Educator (CMBE) and an accredited mentor. He has recently gained a certified expert status awarded by the Institute of Supply Chain Management.
Moshood has mentored more than twenty-five PGCE graduates and colleagues, both within and outside the UK, to improve teaching, learning, and assessment in higher education.
With over twenty-four years of teaching and research experience worldwide, Moshood has established himself as an authority in Agricultural and Developmental Economics. He has published numerous articles in top-tier international journals and spent a decade as a research fellow with the World Bank under the NARP Project in Nigeria, where he secured substantial grants. Moshood's expertise lies in strategic management, global agricultural supply chain and logistics, agribusiness, capacity building, and entrepreneurship, and he is passionate about interdisciplinary and collaborative research studies.
