The EdD programme is an alternative to the traditional doctorate combining taught components with independent research. It blends sessions on policy and practice with the acquisition of research skills, critical insights into research and an understanding of the implications arising. The final award will reflect an original contribution to knowledge evidenced by a substantial research project.
