The University of Bolton is holding its eighth annual Research & Innovation Conference on Friday 20th June 2014.

The conference is a cross disciplinary event, aiming to promote and celebrate the research that is taking place within the University's Research Institutes and Academic Groups.  The conference is free to attend and open to everyone.

Call For Abstracts

The call for abstracts is now closed

Paper Presentations

If you have been accepted to present a paper, you will usually have 15 minutes to present your research plus 10 minutes for questions.  If you are using PowerPoint, please bring your presentation with you on a memory stick. If you intend to use any other software/hardware, please check this with the conference administrator.

Poster Presentations

If you have been accepted to present a poster, your poster should be no bigger than A1.  Please bring your poster along with you at the start of the Conference so that it can be on display throughout the day.  Posters should demonstrate good design principles and should present the research in an innovative and attractive way.  Some tips and ideas can be accessed at the link below:
