Bolton Life

Bolton is one of the UK’s most vibrant towns and the University of Bolton campus is right at the heart of it.

As well as bars, restaurants, clubs and pubs Bolton is famous for its sporting tradition from Bolton Wanderers and the Reebok stadium to state-of-the-art facilities built for the Commonwealth Games. The town has a uniquely rich cultural and industrial history; the beautiful town hall, gallery and museum, as well as the famous Octagon theatre are minutes walk from campus. The West Pennine moors area is only 2.5 miles from campus and offers some of the North of England’s most beautiful countryside with lakes and reservoirs, historic ruins and ancient sites.

The university campus offers a range of places to eat and drink and a lively Students’ Union|. Supermarkets and high street shops are only minutes away. Walking into Bolton town centre for shopping and nightlife takes a few minutes, and Manchester and Salford are only 20 minutes away by train.
