We invite you to participate in the 6th International Workshop on Auxetics and Related Systems incorporating the 6th Annual AuxetNet Young Researchers Forum to be held in Bolton in September 2009. This 4 day meeting will discuss materials with extreme properties, particularly negative Poisson's ratio, negative stiffness, negative thermal expansion etc, and multifunctional systems incorporating such behaviour. This Workshop is especially relevant to those with an interest in materials with extreme properties and will include themed sessions on fabrication, modelling and applications of these materials. Young Researchers are particularly encouraged to present their work for the 6th Annual AuxetNet Young Researchers Forum.
