Welcome! Our role is to support you during your studies by providing appropriate information advice and guidance, and by offering opportunities for you to develop and improve your study skills at our LEAP workshops.
We offer one-to-one appointments and drop-ins in the Life Lounge for impartial advice and guidance on a wide range of academic and personal issues, such as Mitigating Circumstances and Academic Appeals.

We deliver group study skills workshops in the Hub each lunchtime (except Fridays) covering a range of topics including; Academic Writing, Critical Thinking, Referencing, Report Writing, etc.

If you would like to be supported by a trained student volunteer (peer mentor) you can register on the scheme as a mentee.
Alternatively, if you have studied at the university for at least one year you can apply to join the scheme as a peer mentor to be trained to support other students.
