Sophina completed a degree in Politics and Law in 2007 and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at BPP law school. She is a qualified solicitor and has spent many years in legal practice. She had many responsibilities whilst in practice and was regularly tasked with training junior staff.
Sophina has had protracted exposure to many different types of cases throughout her career, but has specialised in civil litigation. Throughout her experience as a civil litigation specialist she regularly had to prepare cases that were due to go to trial, both by way of fast track and the multi track. Sophina has also worked in other areas of law, including immigration applications and hearings, family law hearings often attached to high net ancillary relief proceedings and has been part of a team that submitted a judicial review. She has dealt with cases both of high value and public interest. She spent her career in legal practice dedicated to providing friendly, clear, yet thorough practical advice to her clients.
Sophina is currently teaching on the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) course to students who aspire to become solicitors. She is able to not only teach students but also provide them with real practical advice on what legal practice entails and how to become the best candidate they can be. Her teaching covers Dispute Resolution, English Legal System, Contract Law, Land Law and various skills-based subjects which will be assessed within the SQE.”
