I completed my BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies at Liverpool John Moores University in 2007. I went on to complete PGCE (HE) at UCLan in 2009 and a Master’s degree in Education at UCLan in 2011. I completed a Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) in 2017 at UCLan. I taught HE at Stockport University Centre for 9 years before coming to University of Bolton in February 2016. My professional background is in Primary School where I was a Higher Level Teaching assistant. As an HLTA I taught across all age ranges within primary school from Reception to Year 6. I was also responsible for developing and delivering intervention schemes for Literacy and Numeracy.
