Laura Macintosh

Lecturer

I trained as an Adult Nurse and obtained a Diploma in Higher education, Adult Nursing, from the University of Portsmouth School of Nursing in 1997. I have been registered with the NMC as a RN (Adult) since 1997. I later went on to study at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where I obtained a Diploma in Tropical Nursing and subsequently Studied a PgCert in Advanced Clinical Sills at The University of Nottingham in 2011-12. I am currently undertaking a dissertation for the MSc in Health and Social care at the University of Bolton.


I have been working in Higher education (nurse education) since 2017, initially as a visiting lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and The University Bolton. I was appointed as a permanent, full-time Lecturer in Nursing in February 2018, at The University of Bolton.
