I recently graduated in 2019 as a Registered Nursing Associate (FdSc.) after studying with the pilot intake at the University of Bolton.
Throughout my programme I gained experience working in elderly medicine and surgical wards, whilst also completing a community placement. I began my career working in Cardiology and with the Primary PCI service. Here I developed my clinical skills and my knowledge surrounding acute and emergency care.
I have always enjoyed learning and developing my knowledge to support me in practice and provide a high standard of care to both patients and their families.
In October 2019, I started my new career as a Work-based Apprenticeship Trainer at the University of Bolton, working directly with the Trainee Nursing Associate Team.
Most of my time is spent working directly with apprenticeship students in practice to provide support and help students to reach their goals and targets. I have a passion for developing the Trainee Nursing Associate role and providing student support in the workplace.
