Ged Ryan is a uniquely experienced business specialist with substantial understanding and knowledge in the field of international events management. A highly experienced international events professional who has published articles, chapters and authored books. Ged maintains a highly respectable contribution to international business and the events industry and continues to develop his industry knowledge in the international events and tourism sector.

In 2016, a doctorate was completed that considers the gaps between education and industry. Prior to education Ged was the Development Manager for Creativebias, leading numerous international business delegations and went on to be the event manager at The Cavern Club, Liverpool.

Previously, Ged recorded and performed worldwide with major artists since the early 80's and to this day, remains a well-respected and competent session musician.

Ged now brings his vast international business experience to the classroom and research activities to inform teaching and provide an exceptional learning experience for students who seek to follow a similar journey into the world of international business management.
