16/11/2022

The University of Bolton’s Institute of Management Greater Manchester welcomed students from local colleges for its first Showcase event.

Visitors followed the student roadmap around the building, met programme leads and talked to employers whilst enjoying refreshments in the employability zone on Monday 14 November.

They were also able to have some fun with games of mini golf and the event was accompanied by the music and singing of the University’s talented Music Society members.

There were also employability workshops delivered by the Civil Service and Price Waterhouse Cooper, as well as a host of local employers on hand to provide information and opportunities for students and visitors.

Nicola Stockton, Lecturer/Recruitment and Retention Coordinator at the Institute of Management Greater Manchester, which is based in Great Moor Street, said: “It was a fantastic event and gave students and visitors the chance to see our wonderful facilities and the opportunity to engage with some of the top employers in the region.”
