Following the appointment of Dr Imran Akhtar - Senior Lecturer responsibility for Research Activity and Output, staff and students at the IOM are actively involved with a number of new research initiatives. Dr Akhtar has engaged with and welcomed colleagues from across the University to support a series of research themed webinars.
During February and March, Dr Akhtar launched the IOM Research Symposium and the Research Informal Coffee Evenings (ICE) Sessions. Both events have been well received and evidence of the IOM commitment to achieving our Research Agenda.
6th April 2022 ICE session theme: Simulating Conference Activities – Roundtable Discussions, Presenting, Poster Sessions, and Workshops.
The next ICE session will be held in the PhD Suite Y1-03 on Wednesday, 4th May at 15:00.
