Lauren Cartmell

Associate Lecturer

Lauren has been teaching across the BSc Business Management Programme since 2019 and is passionate about the personal development and the outcomes of students. Her teaching approach focuses on creating an inclusive culture in the learning environment and differentiating learning to support individual needs.

As a University of Bolton Graduate of BSc (Hons) Business Management, PGCE (14+) and MSc in Professional Development, Lauren shares the mission of the university which includes student experience and satisfaction as a top priority. Having over fifteen years of professional experience within Hospitality and Events Management, managing large teams at ground level within Award Winning Wedding Venues and a Michelin Star Restaurant, Lauren utilises her professional and academic experience to shape her teaching practice to provide a valuable education on theory and practice in business.
