Welcome to the Centre for Contemporary Coronial Law

A pioneering unique series of professional development lectures delivered in partnership with the School of Law. The centre aims to provide a unique area of legal education and research within the university’s School of Law. They aim to foster research synergies across the university and externally, to gain research funding, actively undertake and publish research and to liaise with the Coroner’s Society and the Chief Coroner. Overall, the centre aims to promote good coronial law and practice.

The Rt Hon Professor Sir Ernest Ryder (Chancellor Emeritus and Centre Patron, Master, Pembroke College, Oxford. Former Senior President of Tribunals in the United Kingdom.)

As the busy, new Legal Year commences the Centre will bring development opportunities for legal and health practitioners alike, in synergy with the Police and other regulatory services marking a golden opportunity to enhance the delivery of legal services in the important coronial area.

I wish the Centre every future success.
