Enquirers and Applicants

FAQs

We know that many of you are currently experiencing disruption to your studies or have had exams cancelled and we understand the potential impact of this.

We will ensure that any applicant who receives an offer from us is not disadvantaged as a result of school/college closures or exam cancellations. We are following advice from UCAS, the Department of Education and the exam boards and will advise accordingly where we can.

UCAS is providing regular updates to applicants.

If you have an interview scheduled to take place at the University campus these will no longer take place on-campus but will be arranged via video platform or telephone. Our academic departments will be in touch with further information. If you receive an invitation to an interview please continue to book a slot and the team will get in touch. Any further queries please contact interviews@bolton.ac.uk

There is still plenty of time to get a reference if you need it. We may be able to make an offer without this though. Please stay in touch with us and we will advise.

Please apply as normal and follow any instructions given to you by our admissions team. We are preparing for a September start as normal but in the event that you are unable to travel to campus we will provide options for you to start your studies via remote, online learning in the same way as our UK students.

Update March 24th 2020

The Prime Minister introduced unprecedented restrictions on everyday life from today meaning people must leave their house for one of only four reasons – to exercise once a day, to travel to and from work where “absolutely necessary”, to shop for essential items, and to fulfil any medical or care needs.

Please be assured that we are continuing to process applications as normal so please check your email and UCAS track (for undergraduate applicants) for further communications from our admissions team.
