While this line of work is highly competitive, the good news is that most investment bankers come from a relatively diverse range of academic disciplines. A master’s in Financial Management is a great way to develop your skills and knowledge, putting you on the right path to success within in this field.


Corporate finance

This area of finance deals with sources of funding, the capital structure of corporations, financial resources allocation, and increasing value for shareholders. A corporate finance manager is a great career path, with an average salary of £61,794, according to Glassdoor.
