Charlotte Batra is currently a trainee teacher on the PGCE (M) ESOL and Literacy pathway at the University of Bolton. She has just been offered a full-time position teaching Literacy for Manchester Adult Education Service (MAES) where she has been conducting her teaching placement. Charlotte has successfully changed careers, transferring her skills from self-employment as a highly experienced communications specialist in both the public and private sectors, moving to teach adults English in an Adult Community setting. She is now seeking to utilise her considerable talents and experience, to embark upon a new direction in a teaching career.
Charlotte feels her teaching training course has utilised and developed her knowledge and skill sets and that she now has the ability to provide a firm foundation for young people and adult learners to achieve their potential through greater command of the English language.
