Adult nursing at Bolton

What Does This Course Provide?

At Bolton University, we have a degree in adult nursing in collaboration with local NHS Trusts. There is a shortage of trained nurses in the UK, so once you have completed the course, you will have access to plenty of career opportunities.

During the course, you will spend your time evenly between studying at the university and getting hands-on experience at our partner NHS Trusts. During your education, you will receive support from us as you learn how to provide care to adults who have both short and long-term illnesses, as well as those who are both in a home environment and hospital. You will also gain a well-rounded knowledge of disease, prevention, and health promotion.

We work with our partner trusts to help create an environment where you learn the skills to become a professional, confident nurse that can deliver care services in a demanding and often fast-paced environment. Once you have completed the course, you will have all the knowledge you need to begin a career as a compassionate, independent, and resourceful nurse that will maintain the professional standards expected of healthcare providers.
