We have three distinct Undergraduate courses to help you build on your passion for gaming; Games Art, Games Design, and Games Programming. We also have a master’s in Games Development for students who are further along in their studies.

Regardless of the Games degree you choose to study, each of them are enhanced by fantastic resources to help you succeed on the course, and also in your chosen career once you graduate. Read on to find out more.

Centre for Games Development
Our new £13 million state-of-the-art Centre for Games Development opened recently and has seven bespoke development studios, which include a 30-seat studio and an open-access virtual reality suite.

Within the Centre there are dedicated games labs; featuring high-specification hardware and industry-standard software, including Wacom Cintiq drawing screens, Pixologic Zbrush, Autodesk Maya, and Substance Painter/Designer. Here, you’ll learn how to create art assets, develop gameplay and levels, or programme systems.

Industry connections
Many of our teaching staff have worked in games development, so will provide an in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at the sector. They also have exceptional connections, including with Rockstar Games, Codemasters, Travellers’ Tales and Cloud Imperium Games, and hold regular workshops with industry guests.

Employability team
Our dedicated Employability Team is always on hand to support you in your goals, providing you with employability experiences to enhance your CV and boost the skills you need for your chosen games profession.
