Are you looking for a university degree that is accredited with a recognised industry body? Then look no further than our BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation degree. It will prepare you for a career helping both injured sportspeople and members of the public.
This area of sports science is not just about rehabilitating injured people, it is about learning the fundamental aspects of prevention, diagnosis and treatment, as well as long-term rehabilitation.
You will build a strong foundation of sports science theory and then combine this with practical learning and assessment to ensure you can put your knowledge into practice in real-world scenarios. We believe this combination of classroom, practical and laboratory teaching provides you with the best possible start for your future careers in therapy and rehabilitation.
Students at the University of Bolton will study modules including anatomy and musculoskeletal injury, clinical treatment, performance coaching and the use of exercise for prevention, rehabilitation and training.
Students will have the chance to work with leading sports science experts, industry leaders and professional sports teams on external placements, as well as undertake a range of additional qualifications including first aid.
You will be studying the BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation degree in our £31 million Bolton One building which houses some of the latest in sports science technology, including hydrotherapy rooms, exercise equipment and strength and conditioning suites.
This commitment to students getting the very best is why we have been voted in the Top 5 for Teaching Quality in the UK by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.
Each student will receive support from qualified lecturers with industry experience, as well as one-on-one support to develop employability skills needed to successfully find a job upon graduation.
