Course information
This area of sports science is not just about rehabilitating injured people, it is about learning the fundamental aspects of prevention, diagnosis and treatment, as well as long-term rehabilitation.
You will build a strong foundation of sports science theory and then combine this with practical learning and assessment to ensure you can put your knowledge into practice in real-world scenarios in your career. We believe this combination of classroom, practical and laboratory teaching provides you with the best possible start for your future career in therapy and rehabilitation.
As students in the degree of sports rehabilitation at the University of Bolton, you will study modules including anatomy and musculoskeletal injury, clinical treatment, performance coaching and the use of exercise for prevention, rehabilitation and training.
Students will have the chance to work with leading sports science experts, industry leaders and professional sports teams on external placements, as well as undertake a range of additional qualifications including first aid.

You will be studying the BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation degree in our £31 million Bolton One building which houses some of the latest in sports science technology, including hydrotherapy rooms, exercise equipment and strength and conditioning suites.
