Amazon continues to lead the industry - the BBC reported today that the US Federal Aviation Administration has granted Amazon a permit to operate drones in the US.
It suggests that Amazon will be delivered by drones "within months". Amazon executive Jeff Wilke said the drone would be able to travel 15 miles to carry packages weighing 5ibs (2.3kg) or less.
In December 2016 Amazon successfully delivered a package by drone in Cambridge in 13 minutes. The future is coming!
