The Nursing Associate is a pioneering new role within nursing. The role will have a dramatic impact upon both experience and health outcomes for patients across every health care setting.
Our aim is to support the workforce needed for the future of healthcare provision. At University of Bolton, we are a thriving institution and deserve our place on the map. Our current rating as number one in the whole of the country for student experience makes us very proud.
Our teaching team consists of highly experienced healthcare practitioners from a diverse range of healthcare settings. These include acute and critical care, children’s nursing, primary care, and research to name just a few.
The experience of our team enhances the quality assurance in our teaching and brings our student experiences closer to practice. Our collaborative working relationships with partner organisations, which includes the NHS, third sector and private organisations, is a key part of our success.
The Nursing Associate programme involves a unique approach to supporting learners in practice. Our aim to raise the profile of this exciting new role will focus care where it needs to be, at the patients' side.
Creating an environment that cultivates individual development and creativity to inform future nursing practice is the future of nursing. So, if you are a person with the passion to care, and looking for the privilege of being there when patients need us, come and join us.
