The Inclusive Classroom Calls for Skilled Teachers: Retrain in 2021

Creating an inclusive classroom environment is more important than ever, and schools are in need of highly skilled, retrained teachers and leaders who can pave the way to better education for all. Inclusivity is the gateway to a more equal society, and as shared in the latest Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has now said that “inclusive education is non-negotiable”.

Inclusive teaching practices are at the top of every school’s agenda, and inclusivity experts will be in demand, making this the perfect time to retrain and enrol for a master’s at the University of Bolton.

Retraining the educational workforce

While some changes for inclusivity have been put into place in schools, the reality is that many well-meaning policies falter. There’s a huge need for educators with the right knowledge and experience, and retraining teachers will be necessary in order to close the skills gap.

Our MA Inclusive Education course is designed to give educational practitioners the tools they need to build an inclusive classroom structure, making education accessible to learners with specific needs, as well as children from different backgrounds.

Retrain and reskill at the University of Bolton

If you’re passionate about the inclusive classroom concept and wish to bring fresh, inclusive ideas into a range of leadership roles, we can help you develop the skills to do so.

Not only do we provide a supportive and friendly learning environment for teachers returning to their studies, but we practice what we preach. Where better to learn about inclusivity than a university that rank No.2 in the UK for Social Inclusion (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021)?

With over 60 nationalities represented on campus, life at the University of Bolton is a real celebration of cultures. We’re also proud to be ranked second in the UK for Teaching Quality (across all courses, The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021).
