Frequently Asked Questions

How much of my time will I spend studying?

The apprenticeship programme is split between work and study. You will spend the majority of your time in the workplace, learning on the job. Your part-time studies at the University of Bolton will supplement this experience.

How much will it cost me?

There are no tuition fees. These are covered by employers and the government, so you will be financially supported throughout the course. You will also earn a full-time salary as you learn.

Will I get a job at the end?

As employers will co-fund your learning, they will want to make use of your training, so it’s highly likely that you will continue working for the employer once you graduate.

What academic requirements are there?

None. All employees are eligible for apprenticeships, regardless of qualifications or previous experience.
