The Institute of Management has been running ACCA courses since 2012 and has Gold partner status as an approved learning provider from the ACCA. At the University of Bolton we offer all ACCA papers from ACCA Corporate and Business Law (LW) to Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA) which will enable you to work towards becoming a member of the world’s fastest-growing international professional accounting body. The course is flexible, allowing you to join the programmes at different stages and choose the relevant modules you need for your exams, studying at a pace that suits you. Our tutors are all qualified accountants with expert academic and professional knowledge and experience. They have worked for companies such as Shell PLC, Babcock’s group, PwC, Kaplan Financial and large local authorities, and can therefore use real-life experiences to enhance your learning in the classroom.

  • Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) – Wednesday 29 January 2025, starts at 9:30am for the MSc students and 1:45pm for ACCA students
  • ACCA Advanced Performance Management (APM) – Monday 27 January 2025, starts at 1pm
  • ACCA Advanced Taxation (ATX) – Monday 27 January 2025, starts at 1pm

Fees

  • ACCA Applied Skills – £650 per paper includes Kaplan textbook, tuition, and revision.
  • ACCA Strategic Professional Level – Full-time – £3,500 includes Kaplan textbook, tuition, and revision.
  • ACCA Strategic Professional Level – Part-time – £875 per paper includes Kaplan textbook, tuition, and revision.

ACCA Embedded Masters - MSc Accountancy and Financial Management

The MSc Accountancy and Financial Management (ACCA embedded masters) is taught alongside ACCA Strategic Professional with additional modules for Research Methods and a Dissertation.

Upon passing internal (University of Bolton) and external exams (ACCA), you will obtain both an MSc and ACCA Affiliate status. Please see the schedule below, which summarizes the timetable you would follow if you choose the MSc option.

Semester 1 – 2024/25 (Attendance: Monday and Wednesday or Thursday starts 1pm)
