Senior Lecturer in Sports Rehabilitation
After graduating as a physiotherapist I joined Burnley Football Club as Head Youth and Reserve Team Physiotherapist, where my role involved assessing, treating and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries in elite athletes.
During this time I completed my masters degree in Exercise and Sport Injury, which led to a keen interest in injury prevention and areas of specialism now include treating lower limb injuries and late-stage rehabilitation.
I joined Bolton in 2011 and lecture on the Therapeutic Skills, Research Methods, Differential Diagnosis and Psychology in Sports Rehabilitation modules, as well as undertake clinical practice in the Sports and Spinal Injuries Clinic.
I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and a State Registered Physiotherapist.
