Employer Based Regeneration CPD Training Initiative

This project was funded by the Greater Manchester Strategic Alliance (GMSA) and undertaken in collaboration with Bolton at Home and its regeneration partners.


Project Aims

The project aims were to:

•Undertake an analysis of the learning needs of the identified target groups with respect to regeneration;

•Respond to these needs through the creation of a CPD module, constructed to be delivered by the use of community-based action learning sets;

•Disseminate the outcomes of the work to other Greater Manchester Councils.


Project Objectives

The project objectives were to:

•Identify knowledge gaps in regeneration required by employers for regeneration practitioners

•Develop one 20 credit HE level 4 module to respond to employer-led needs

•Deliver module to pilot cohort

•Disseminate key lessons learnt to GMSA Regeneration Sector Development Group (SDG)
